To help increase local coffee production and improve the quality of local beans, provider of premium coffee beans and coffee machines Henry & Sons created a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to create a thriving and sustainable coffee industry by addressing the five major issues that are stopping coffee farmers from producing better coffee in larger quantities: the Foundation for Sustainable Coffee Excellence.
Bloom 2017 Coffee Festival also hosted FSCE’s first ever Crop of the Year Award, where fifteen farmers were given the chance to show industry leaders the quality of their crops.
FSCE is dedicated to create a better and more sustainable local coffee industry by providing livelihood necessities to coffee farmers.
Guests at the event got the chance to witness firsthand how FSCE is creating change in the lives of coffee farmers in La Trinidad, who mostly live in poverty and without access to regular medical services and potable water.
